Morgan DiGiorgio, SVP of Sales & Marketing at DirectMail2.0, works closely with members of the printing industry every day, helping them lift the results of direct mail campaigns with digital technologies. She was recently featured by Girls Who Print for Women’s HERStory Month and she shared how she helps customers and what she’s most focused on this year.

How do you help customers and partners succeed with their print and marketing endeavors?

At the foundational level, I seek to identify and understand their goals and needs. This helps to be able to tailor solutions to their specific requirements, and ultimately, achieve their desired results. There isn’t a one size fits all scope and it’s important to really listen to what your customers and partners are communicating to you. Also, educating and setting clear expectations are so important. When we have open communication and are all clear on the expected response and deliverables it is easy to achieve desired outcomes in terms of the relationship and the accomplishment of their print and marketing goals. Lastly, an exceptional care factor goes a long way. Keeping your customers and partners informed throughout the process and having a sincere care factor about the results and outcomes of their print and marketing efforts is imperative. Following up at campaign completion with a post-campaign analysis to ensure desired outcomes were achieved in addition to drilling into the details of the response, the audience, and how to continuously improve the print and marketing efforts with each additional campaign is key. All in all, providing solutions, building and maintaining relationships and impeccable service is the goal of helping our customers and partners.

What ONE word describes your professional mission for 2023 – and why?

Education. The print industry has evolved tremendously over the years with the advent of new technologies and techniques. Education enables individuals in the industry to keep up with these changes and stay relevant in addition to harnessing new opportunities and profitability for print providers and print buyers. Additionally, education about careers in the industry is so imperative to attracting lucrative talent and ensuring the delivery of print mediums. Knowledge is the building block that we can all use to grow every element of the print industry in so many different ways.
